Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial Honors Veterans During Agent Orange Awareness Candlelight Vigil

On Monday, August 10, 2026, Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial welcomed Veterans, families, and members of the community for our annual Agent Orange Awareness Candlelight Vigil.

Each year on Agent Orange Awareness Day, we gather to honor the men and women whose lives were forever changed by Agent Orange. We also remember the families who have walked beside them through years of illness, loss, and sacrifice.

As the sun set, visitors gathered at America’s Wall to reflect, remember, and honor those affected by Agent Orange. The glow of candlelight reminded everyone that the sacrifices of our nation’s Veterans must Never Be Forgotten.

During the evening, guests shared personal reflections on remembrance cards. Many honored loved ones, fellow Veterans, and others whose lives were changed by Agent Orange. Their heartfelt messages celebrated courage, resilience, and the lasting legacy of those who served.

Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial is committed to preserving these stories. We also strive to help future generations understand the lasting impact of military service. Events like our Agent Orange Awareness Candlelight Vigil bring our community together in remembrance, gratitude, and support.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening. We are also grateful to the supporters whose generosity makes programs like this possible. Together, we continue to honor our Veterans and ensure their sacrifices are Never Forgotten.
