Exciting Campus Improvements Underway at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial

Because of the generosity of our supporters, we’re making our campus even more beautiful, accessible, and welcoming for all who visit.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial. Right now, construction crews are hard at work on a major campus improvement.

The project expands our sidewalks from The Old Guard monument to the west end of America’s Wall, wrapping behind the Wall, connecting to the east end, and then cutting through the main lawn back toward The Old Guard monument. Once complete, this new pathway will make it easier for visitors to explore the National Memorial, enjoy the grounds, and reflect at each monument in a seamless journey.

If you’ve driven by recently, you may have already spotted the progress. The sight of hard hats, freshly dug up dirt, and careful planning in action is inspiring, and it’s all possible because of the generosity of our supporters.

We expect the new sidewalk network to be finished by Veterans Day, and we can’t wait to share photos of the completed project. This addition will not only enhance the beauty of our campus but also improve accessibility for guests of all ages and abilities.

At Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, our mission is to pay tribute to all of our service men and women and their families and provide an environment for peaceful reflection. Our supporters that mission possible.
