Memory from a Loved One: 

My Dad loved his family and country. He served his country for 20 years. He did not talk about his time in Vietnam or Korea. When he did, we could listen. One story he told us when he was in Vietnam he was getting ready to go out with his men. Dad got called back at the last minute because something changed. When the guy went out the gate, all the men in the tank were killed. If Dad was not called back in time, I would not be here today. Dad had many close calls while he was in Vietnam. He was one of the lucky ones to come home. Agent Orange took him away in 2011.
